Amia Korman is a classic & contemporary musical theatre artist based in New York City. Having performed professionally from an early age, Amia's skill spans a wide stylistic spectrum encompassing classical, jazz and pop vocalism, dance styles from ballet to burlesque, and comedy from G&S to contemporary camp. A graduate of the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, Amia studied Voice & Opera Performance concurrently with Musical Theatre. Most recently, Amia made their Ohio Light Opera debut as Julie Jordan in Carousel, shortly after their Chicago theatre debut as Éponine in Les Misérables. Beyond the stage, Amia is a lyricist, playwright & songwriter under the pseudonym Dolly In Slacks.
